Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to PetFlip ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using petflip.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. What PetFlip is

PetFlip is a peer-to-peer marketplace that allows users to buy and sell in-game virtual items and pets from Roblox games. PetFlip acts solely as a payment intermediary and escrow service. We do not own, create, or guarantee any of the items listed on the platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PetFlip. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use this platform and to enter into financial transactions.

4. Escrow and payments

When a buyer completes a purchase, funds are held securely by our payment provider (Stripe) until the buyer confirms receipt of the item. Funds are automatically released to the seller after 24 hours if no dispute is raised. PetFlip retains a 10% platform fee on each completed transaction.

5. Disputes

If a buyer does not receive an item or the item is materially different from the listing, they may raise a dispute within 24 hours of payment. PetFlip will review the dispute and make a final decision on whether to release or refund the funds. Our decision is final.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not use PetFlip to commit fraud, impersonate other users, list items you do not own, manipulate reviews, or engage in any activity that violates applicable law. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of any held funds.

7. Roblox disclaimer

Trading in-game virtual items for real money may violate the Terms of Service of individual Roblox games. Users accept full responsibility for any consequences arising from such trades. PetFlip is not responsible for any action taken by Roblox Corporation or individual game developers against user accounts.

8. Limitation of liability

PetFlip is not liable for any loss of virtual items, account bans, failed trades, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our maximum liability to any user is limited to the value of the transaction in dispute.

9. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of PetFlip after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
